Cancellation Policy

We understand that circumstances can change, and you may need to cancel your insurance policy. Our goal is to make this process as smooth and straightforward as possible. Please review the following guidelines regarding the cancellation of your insurance policy:

1. Cancellation by Policyholder:

  • Notice of Cancellation: You may cancel your insurance policy at any time by providing us with written notice. The notice should include your policy number, the effective date of cancellation, and your signature.
  • Effective Date of Cancellation: Cancellation will be effective on the date specified in your notice, or if no date is specified, on the date we receive your written notice.
  • Refunds: If you cancel your policy, you may be entitled to a refund of any unearned premium. The refund will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, less any applicable administrative fees. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.

2. Cancellation by Insurance Company:

  • Notice of Cancellation: We may cancel your policy by providing you with written notice at least 30 days before the cancellation date. The notice will state the reason for cancellation.
  • Refunds: If we cancel your policy, you will be entitled to a refund of any unearned premium on a pro-rata basis. Refunds will be processed within 30 days of the cancellation date.

3. Non-Payment of Premium:

  • Grace Period: If you fail to pay your premium by the due date, a grace period of 30 days will be provided to make the payment. If the premium is not paid within the grace period, the policy will be cancelled automatically.
  • Refunds: If the policy is cancelled due to non-payment of premium, no refunds will be provided for any coverage period for which the premium has not been paid.

4. Reinstatement:

  • Reinstatement Policy: If your policy is cancelled, you may request reinstatement within 30 days of the cancellation date by submitting a written request and paying any outstanding premiums. Reinstatement is subject to approval and may require underwriting review.

5. Additional Terms:

  • Policy Amendments: Any changes or amendments to this cancellation policy will be communicated to you in writing and will take effect 30 days after such notice is provided.
  • State-Specific Regulations: Some states have specific regulations regarding cancellation and refunds. Where state laws differ from this policy, the applicable state law will apply.
